Your prize entitles you to a comprehensive website design package. In a formal scope, the package includes the following services and deliverables:
Custom Website Design (Up to 10 Pages): A fully custom-designed website of up to ten pages, built with clean, custom code (non-WordPress) for a unique and high-performance site.
Basic On-Page SEO: Optimization of your website’s pages (titles, meta descriptions, headings, etc.) to improve search engine visibility and help customers find you more easily.
Keyword Research: Identification of relevant search keywords for your industry, which we will integrate into your website content to support better SEO performance.
Social Media Integration: Integration of your social media profiles (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) on your website, making it easy for visitors to connect with you on those platforms.
Google Analytics Setup: Installation and configuration of Google Analytics on your site, allowing you to track visitor traffic and behavior for valuable insights.
SSL Security: Implementation of an SSL certificate (HTTPS) for your website’s domain, ensuring that your site is secure and displays the padlock icon for visitor trust.
Contact Form: A custom contact form that enables visitors to send inquiries or messages directly through your website, which will be routed to your email.
Privacy & Cookie Policy Pages: Basic Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy pages to help comply with legal requirements and inform users how you handle data and cookies on your site.
Basic Logo Design: If you don’t have a logo, our design team will create a simple, professional basic logo for your business to use on the website (e.g. a text-based or minimal graphic logo).
Each of these items is included in your prize at no cost to you – providing everything needed to get your new website up and running with a strong foundation.
Please note: Web hosting is required to make your website live on the internet, and it is not included as part of the giveaway prize. You will need to have a hosting plan in place (with us or another provider) to launch and maintain your site. We offer two convenient hosting options if you’d like to host with us:
Standard Hosting – $15/month: Reliable website hosting on our secure servers. This plan covers the basics needed to keep your site online, including an SSL certificate and standard support.
Hosting + Maintenance – $35/month: Our premium plan which includes hosting plus ongoing maintenance. With this plan, our team will handle routine website updates, security monitoring, backups, and minor content changes for you, ensuring your site stays updated and secure over time.
If you already have a hosting provider or prefer to manage hosting yourself, we can accommodate that. (Be aware that if you plan to host the site elsewhere or eventually take full control of it, a WordPress build is recommended for easy transfer – see the WordPress upgrade in the Optional Upgrades section below.)
Your prize covers a robust set of features, but we also offer optional upgrades and add-ons if you’d like to expand your website’s capabilities or scope. These enhancements are not required, but can be chosen to further tailor the project to your needs (additional fees apply):
WordPress CMS Upgrade ($500): We will build your site using WordPress (a popular Content Management System) instead of a static custom-coded approach. This upgrade is recommended if you want to easily edit your website content yourself or plan to transfer the site to your own hosting in the future. (WordPress makes your site portable and user-friendly for non-developers.)
E-Commerce Functionality ($300): Add a fully functional online store to your website. This includes setting up a shopping cart, product pages, checkout system, and payment gateway integration – perfect if you plan to sell products or services online.
Advanced Logo & Branding ($500): Upgrade from the basic logo to a more comprehensive branding package. Our professional designers will create a detailed, custom logo or refine your existing logo, and provide branding elements that truly stand out.
Blog Setup: Incorporate a blog or news section on your website. We’ll set up a blog page and template so you can publish articles or updates regularly (great for content marketing and SEO).
Professional Copywriting: Get expert-written content for your website. Our copywriters can craft compelling text for your pages or refine your provided content to ensure clarity, professionalism, and engagement. (This service is priced based on the number of pages or amount of content needed.)
Additional Custom Features: If you have other specific features in mind – such as advanced forms, booking systems, integrations with other platforms, or anything beyond the standard scope – we can discuss and provide a quote for those enhancements as well.
Note: If you anticipate needing to move your website to a different host or manage it on your own, the WordPress upgrade is the best path. WordPress will ensure your site is easily transferable and maintainable outside of our servers. In other words, WordPress is required if you want to later host the site elsewhere or handle updates yourself. We will happily advise you on this during the kickoff if you’re unsure.
We understand that some winners may have needs that go beyond the standard scope of the giveaway package. If you discover that your project requires more than what’s included in the prize (for example, more than 10 pages, complex custom functionality, or other extensive requirements), don’t worry – you won’t lose out on the value of your prize!
Should your project exceed the giveaway scope, your $1,000 prize will be applied as a credit toward a larger website package. In other words, the $1,000 serves as a discount on a more expansive project. You can upgrade to one of our higher-tier web design packages or request a custom quote for the additional work, and we will deduct $1,000 from the total price. This way, you still benefit fully from the giveaway, and you only pay the difference for the enhanced scope. Our goal is to ensure you get the website you truly need, whether it fits in the basic prize framework or requires a bigger solution.
To make the most of your prize, please keep in mind the following timeline and requirements. We’ll maintain a formal process to ensure everything stays on track:
Prize Acceptance (within 45 Days): Winners must claim their prize and initiate the project within 45 days of being notified. You have 45 days to accept this offer and get the process started. (Simply put, don’t wait too long to respond—after 45 days, the giveaway offer may expire.)
Project Kickoff Scheduling: Once you’ve accepted the prize, we will schedule a kickoff meeting to discuss your website in detail (see “Next Steps” below for how to schedule this). This kickoff should be arranged promptly after acceptance so we can begin planning your project.
Completion Timeline (~30 Days from Kickoff): We expect to complete your website project in approximately 30 days from the kickoff meeting. This 30-day timeline assumes that you provide timely feedback and any requested materials (such as text or images for the site) when needed. Our team works efficiently, but delays in getting your feedback or content can extend the project duration. We will keep you updated throughout the process and do everything we can to deliver your finished website on time.
In summary, to stay on schedule: please claim your prize within 45 days, be ready to kick off the project soon after, and stay engaged during the design process. This will help us launch your new site in about a month from the start date.
Now for the fun part – getting your website project started! We’ll switch to an instructional tone here to guide you through exactly what to do next. Follow these steps to claim your prize and kick off the web design process:
Fill Out the Website Design Questionnaire: Start by completing our Website Design Questionnaire. This online form is designed to gather the essential details about your business, brand, and website goals. The questionnaire will ask about your preferences (e.g. style, colors), target audience, and any specific features or content you have in mind. Your responses will help us tailor the website to your needs and ensure we hit the ground running at the kickoff. (Tip: The more information you provide, the better we can prepare!)
Schedule Your Kickoff Meeting: After submitting the questionnaire, the next step is to book a kickoff call with our team. Use our Calendar Booking page to choose a convenient date and time for your kickoff meeting. During this meeting (conducted via phone or video conference), we will review your questionnaire answers, discuss your vision and requirements in detail, and confirm any optional upgrades or special requests. We’ll also outline the project plan and set expectations so everyone is on the same page. This kickoff is an important first meeting – it’s where we make sure we’re aligned before design work begins.
Collaborate & Provide Feedback: Once the kickoff is done, our design and development team will get to work on your new website! We’ll keep you informed with updates and previews as we make progress. During this phase, your role is to provide feedback and any additional content we might need. For example, we may send you design mockups or a staging link to review the site-in-progress. It’s important that you review these and respond with your approval or requested changes in a timely manner. Don’t worry – we’ll guide you through how to give feedback effectively. Your prompt responses will help us stay on schedule for the 30-day completion target.
Launch Your New Website: After you’ve approved the final design and content, we will perform all the final checks and launch your website! 🎉 We’ll set up your site on the hosting plan you selected (or prepare the files for transfer, if using your own host with WordPress). Once live, we’ll ensure everything is working properly, from forms to links. You’ll then be the proud owner of a brand-new, professional website. We’ll also walk you through how to log in or make basic updates (if on WordPress), and how to contact us for support if needed.
